Project Description
EuroCC2 – National Competence Centres in the framework of EuroHPC Phase 2
Period: 2023-01-01 – 2025-12-31
Funded by: Digital Europe, EuroHPC JU
The National Competence Centers (NCC) are the central contact points for HPC (high performance computing) and related technologies in each country.
Their objectives are:
- Develop and display a complete and transparent map of HPC competencies and institutions in their country.
- Act as a gateway for industry and academia to suppliers with appropriate expertise or relevant projects, whether national or international.
- Collect HPC training offerings in your country and present them in a centralized location along with international training offerings collected by other NCCs.
- Encourage the adoption of HPC by industry (especially SMEs).
EuroCC2’s mission is to continue the networking of NCCs in the most efficient way, while continuing to address the differences in the maturity of HPC deployment in Europe, and in close collaboration with the CASTIEL2 project and the HPC Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
