Quantum Spain – Quantum Computing Ecosystem for AI

The Quantum Spain project pursues three objectives.
1) To create a high-performance quantum computer, based on a technological approach of cubits based on superconducting currents.
2) To create a remote cloud access service to the processor, to allow industry and the public sector to experiment with the new quantum algorithms.
3) Develop useful quantum algorithms, applicable to real problems. These algorithms will have a special emphasis on the development of “quantum machine learning”, in deep connection with advances Artificial Intelligence. The project aims to create a competitive quantum ecosystem, with medium- and long-term implications in deep tech hardware technologies.
